|Enrapture Encode Totum Styler - £74.99*|
If you've been reading my blog since the beginning, you will know that I am on somewhat of a quest for voluminous (but not poofy) hair. I thought I'd found my answer with the Vidal Sassoon Detox Tong that I have been using, However there's a new kid on the block, Enrapture's Encode Totum Styler.
For months I've been seeing reviews popping up from people lucky enough to be gifted/buy the hugely loved tool and wondered, what is so great about Enrapture? Well now I feel I know the secret, the styler is head and shoulders above the rest. Its unique titanium barrel design is divided up, allowing you to set the three heat zones at different temperatures using the encoder dial, to create an array of curled styles.
As somewhat of a curling novice, I decided to set the barrel in the 1-2-3 combination (1-loose wave 2-medium curl 3-tight hold) to create a natural looking curl, relaxed through the mid-lengths, tighter at the end.
I found the styler heated up a lot quicker than most heated hair tools I've have used in the past, brilliant if your in a rush and don't have time to waste revving up your curler. Usually I would clamp the hair and hold for around 10 seconds, but with the even heat all through the barrel, after around 5 seconds, my glossy curls were formed, more time saved. All in all it took me around 5 minutes to curl all of my hair (sectioned into 8 makes it hell of a lot quicker) a minute or so of combing through to loosen and my hair was just how I hoped it would be. I would recommend the Encode Styler to anyone, hair tool beginners to long standing hot-brush lovers, its super quick and creates amazing results. I shall now spend my spare time encoding to create different looks. Aside from the tool, as a huge packaging lover, the bright indigo gift box is very pleasing!
People say God comes in many forms, I can safely say, he comes in the form of the Enrapture Encode Totum Styler.
