Anti-Ageing Skincare - Voya & Kielhs

Kielhs Powerful-Strength  Line-Reducing Concentrate - £49* & Voya 'My Little Hero' Face Serum - £51*

As far as anti-ageing goes, weather a miracle cream or a fad diet, most women will buy into it. Youthful skin is yearned for by women and men worldwide, The UK Anti-Ageing industry is worth over £15 Billion alone. When I received these two serums to test, I started to think, when would be the right time to start using anti-ageing on my fairy youthful 19 year old skin? I do believe prevention is better than cure and hopefully using line reducers before my skin gets wrinkled will help me in later life?

First up, Kiehls Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate is hailed to 'help reduce the appearance of Marionette lines' 'Crows feet and wrinkles as well as Sub-orbital wrinkles in the eye area' A key ingreadiant in the cream is Vitamin C, known for its ability to improve the appearance of ageing skin. Although I do not have wrinkles as of yet (fingers crossed I never do) I cannot comment on the wrinkle fighting properties of the cream just yet! However, it does make the skin texture look smoother and a little brighter. I do suffer from sensitive skin time to time and luckily this cream doesn't aggravate my face.

Voya, a new brand on my radar are an Irish company who pride themselves on using almost 100% organic seaweed based products. 'My Little Hero' is a facial serum packed with organic oils including sunflower seed and dog rose oil to help boost your skins natural defences. The heavily scented oil is a little tricky to apply as it runs off your fingers, but when massaged into the skin it sinks straight in and doesn't leave you looking greasy and shiny as you would imagine an oil would. I noticed that after a couple of uses my skin felt radiant and moisturised but again, cannot comment on the anti-ageing properties. Although a little pricey, if the boost in moisture not only helps prevent wrinkles in later life but leaves my skin feeling great now, I'd be willing to pay the £51 price tag.
Both bottles  feature handy pumps which is helpful when applying so you don't have to fiddle around with unscrewing lids and flicking your products all over yourself and surroundings.

What are opinions on younger people using anti-ageing?
